A meaningful Interview with Rahul Gandhi

Journalist- Can you please tell us something about yourself? What do you like to do when you are not involved in political activities?
Rahul Gandhi- We introduced RTI
Journalist- umm... not what I asked but anyways...tell us something about your education?
RaGa- Women Empowerment
Journalist- Sir, can you please answer the question?
RaGa- Let me tell you something about Rahul Gandhi. Who is Rahul Gandhi?

Journalist- Wait….are you asking me that question?
RaGa- Sure. You tell me, who is Rahul Gandhi?
Journalist- But it’s the other way round. It’s you who should be answering.
RaGa- I will answer after you answer my question. Who is Rahul Gandhi?
Journalist- I don’t know. You tell me.
RaGa- NO! YOU TELL ME.
J- Well, clearly you don’t know who YOU are. So let’s move on. Which year were you born?
RaGa- I am not saying that. All I am saying is that there is a difference between 1987 riots and Gujarat riots.
J- Sir, I did not ask you about the riots. I asked you which year you were born.
RaGa- Women Empowerment
J (frustrated)- Sir, can you at least state your views about your rival Mr. Modi as a competitor for the post of PM?
RaGa- Mr. Modi is a human being. To be very frank, I think it will be safe to say that he is a homo sapien.

Journalist (boiling with anger)- Is that all you have to say about him and his political stand?
RaGa- Politics is in your shirt, it is in your pants.
Journalist- WTF?
RaGa- hee hee
Journalist- Why are you laughing?
RaGa- Women Empowerment
Journalist- Women Empowerment what? Will you complete that sentence?
RaGa- bournvita
Journalist- What the hell are you talking about?
RaGa- Women... Empowerment
Journalist- YOU SAY WOMEN EMPOWERMENT ONE MORE TIME AND I SWEAR YOU WILL NOT LIVE TO SEE ANOTHER DAY.
RaGa- Death is a state of mind.
Journalist (ready to kill him) – AARRGGHH....GET OUT!!! GET OUT AND DISAPPEAR FROM THE FACE OF EARTH YOU HALF-WITTED MORON!!!
RaGa- Let me ask you a counter question, when is the repeat telecast of Chota Bheem? Also... Women Empowerment!!!

You can find beauty even on street corners!!!

I was on my way to the office when suddenly something bright caught my eye. I looked to my left and saw this huge graffiti art done on a wall. But I could only see it for a moment because the auto-rickshaw I was in, had already driven off ahead.

The next day I made sure I will stop the auto-rickshaw driver before we hit the spot. So I kept looking out in case I didn't miss it when suddenly it appeared. I asked the auto-rickshaw driver to stop so that I could take a good look and click a few pictures.

The first thing that caught my eye were the colors. So vibrant and beautifully blended together. Then I shifted my focus to what was painted. It was the picture of a fruit vendor with a basket of bananas on his head on top of which rested a monkey. I had only seen such street art in pictures so far. I guess this was why I was so drawn to it. To see it in person is a different feeling all together when the figure stands so tall in front of you.

I realized that it inspired me to some extent. I honestly have become lost in my busy and hectic life where there is no excitement other than my work. I am not complaining. I like it. But I also realized that in the process of running my own business, I had lost touch with my creative artistic side which was rekindled a bit after I saw this piece of art.

I know it's vandalism, but I personally believe that there needs to be a display of such artoften and in more places. I find this to be the purest form of art where no one stands to gain or lose anything. Whoever this 'ARIEZ' group is, I just hope they continue their artwork to inspire people like me to never lose the one thing that's good about us- our creativity.
