You can find beauty even on street corners!!!

I was on my way to the office when suddenly something bright caught my eye. I looked to my left and saw this huge graffiti art done on a wall. But I could only see it for a moment because the auto-rickshaw I was in, had already driven off ahead.

The next day I made sure I will stop the auto-rickshaw driver before we hit the spot. So I kept looking out in case I didn't miss it when suddenly it appeared. I asked the auto-rickshaw driver to stop so that I could take a good look and click a few pictures.

The first thing that caught my eye were the colors. So vibrant and beautifully blended together. Then I shifted my focus to what was painted. It was the picture of a fruit vendor with a basket of bananas on his head on top of which rested a monkey. I had only seen such street art in pictures so far. I guess this was why I was so drawn to it. To see it in person is a different feeling all together when the figure stands so tall in front of you.

I realized that it inspired me to some extent. I honestly have become lost in my busy and hectic life where there is no excitement other than my work. I am not complaining. I like it. But I also realized that in the process of running my own business, I had lost touch with my creative artistic side which was rekindled a bit after I saw this piece of art.

I know it's vandalism, but I personally believe that there needs to be a display of such artoften and in more places. I find this to be the purest form of art where no one stands to gain or lose anything. Whoever this 'ARIEZ' group is, I just hope they continue their artwork to inspire people like me to never lose the one thing that's good about us- our creativity.
